The best vegan food in Bali is diverse and absolutely fantastic. In fact, I may even consider this little piece of paradise as the place to be for vegans.

You can eat vegan food in Bali in local restaurants called warungs. Here, the food is made entirely from scratch, meaning it’s very simple to make every dish vegan.

You can try all kinds of local delicacies such as the Gado Gado, Jukut Arab, Mie Goreng, and a whole bunch of vegetable curries. It’s safe to say, you definitely won’t stay hungry in Bali!

Kynd Community

If you’re looking for where to eat vegan food in Bali, your first stop should be the Kynd Community. This cute cafe is frequently flooded with people, especially food bloggers, though the atmosphere always feels tranquil and inviting.

Kynd Community has two locations – one in Seminyak and the other in Canggu. Their menu is so diverse, ranging from smoothie bowls, vegan burgers, and my personal favorite breakfast dish – the fried “egg”. In addition to tasting fantastic, the food presentation is second to none. So, if you like taking pictures of your dishes, your Instagram is bound to pop!

Another thing I love about this vegan cafe in Bali is the decor! The pink walls and colorful murals are very pleasing to the eye, you’ll want to stay there for hours. Also, if you’re craving something sweet, be sure to try their ice cream!

I Am Vegan Babe

Given the name of this fabulous vegan restaurant in Bali, you can probably imagine what to expect. Well, I’m here to tell you to throw all your expectations away and prepare for something way better!

I Am Vegan Babe is located in the heart of Canggu and is 100% vegan. From salads and cinnamon rolls to the best veganized eggs benefits, there are tons of options to choose from.

They have such a wide variety of delicious plant-based dishes, both indulgent and healthy. The menu totally wowed me and was definitely one of the best vegan dishes I’ve ever tasted! So, if you’re in Bali and want top vegan meals, this is a place you can’t miss out on! 

The Loft

The Loft is a vegetarian cafe with plenty of vegan options on the menu. It’s a little more expensive than some other places, but still pretty affordable. They serve one of the best açaí bowls in Bali, topped with fresh fruit, granola, and a cute gold spoon.

My favorite dish was the veggie breakfast, which featured scrambled tofu, a mix of vegetables, two different sauces, and some bread. For dinner, I tried the vegan carbonara made with jackfruit, and it was interesting! 

It’s one of the best places to eat vegan in Bali, so be sure to give it a try. You’ll surely find your favorite on the menu, and I believe you’ll want to visit it more than once.

Earth Cafe

When I found myself in Ubud, I had to check out this spot at least once. They serve açaí in a pineapple bowl, and you can even enjoy it on a little swing!

Earth Cafe quickly became my favorite place in Bali – everything I tried was delicious and super budget-friendly. Plus, they even have movie nights! So, it’s not only a place where you eat well. It’s a spot that ensures you have a good time and enjoy your food in a unique manner!

I enjoyed it so much that I visited it a few times. I went for the porridge and those amazing wrap pancakes topped with coconut ice cream and fruit. It was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had! 

Lumbung Restaurant 

I decided to have lunch at Lumbung, which is located in the Desa Visesa Hotel, because I liked the ambiance. It seemed attractive, so I thought they might offer an enjoyable meal along with a nice setting. 

They have a whole vegan menu, and I was really impressed by how delicious everything was. The coconut soup served right in the coconut and the jackfruit curry were definite highlights! If you want to treat yourself like royalty without breaking the bank, this is the perfect spot. And don’t forget to take a stroll around the hotel and its beautiful rice fields while you’re there!

Secret Spot Cafe

If you’re looking for a hidden gem in Canggu, check out the Secret Spot vegan café. It’s mostly vegan, with just a couple of options like regular milk and yogurt for those who need it. They serve amazing smoothie bowls, waffles, and raw dishes that will totally wow you!

Craving something delicious? They’ve got peanut butter and chocolate smoothie bowls, a raw Snickers bar, and even healthier burgers that will have you craving for more. Even if you don’t like burgers very much, these ones are a must-try, so don’t miss out on them!
